Tiara Mardosas completed her Master of Physical Therapy at Western University. Go Mustangs! Prior to this, she completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Kinesiology and Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion at the University of Guelph-Humber. Tiara is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and its Orthopaedic and Women’s Health Division. She is rostered to perform authorized activities including pelvic health physiotherapy, functional dry needling, and spinal manipulations.
While Tiara has vast experience in orthopaedics and sports medicine, she has recently developed a keen interest in pelvic health, as she believes the pelvic floor is the foundation for a healthy and functional body. Tiara has completed training to be able to treat both men and women who suffer from pelvic pain and associated conditions, urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, ano-rectal dysfunction and post-partum dysfunctions.
Tiara is committed to lifelong learning and providing evidence-based, patient centered care. She is continually challenging her clinical skills and knowledge and on weekends can be found enrolled in post-graduate courses and attending conferences. She fits well within the Omega community with her dedication to integrative care. Her holistic approach incorporates not only the biological factors of an individual, but also both psychological and social factors. Tiara is excited to give back to the community and continue her growth as a clinician.
